The Arakan Rohingya National Organisation (ARNO) extends its deepest condolences and heartfelt solidarity to all those affected by the devastating earthquake that struck central Myanmar on March 29, 2025.
We mourn the tragic loss of life and express our sympathies to the families of the deceased. Our thoughts are with the injured, the displaced, and all those enduring immense hardship in the aftermath of this disaster.
As a people who have endured decades of suffering and displacement, we stand in empathy with those now facing loss and uncertainty. We urge the authorities and international community to ensure rapid humanitarian assistance and equitable support to all affected communities, regardless of ethnicity or background. We encourage international donors to work closely with community based organizations to reach survivors and victims of the earthquake quickly.
In this time of crisis, we call for unity, compassion, and collective action to aid recovery and healing.
